Foundation

I have finally finished Asimov's Foundation series. I do agree with Yishan, this is perhaps the best book in the series. I like how by the end of the book I could figure out what that cube in the picture was (but I have no clue as to who is holding it). I like the vague reference to where Star's End actually is. The bit about the Prime Radiant going to Terminus is interesting too... I mean they never mentioned anything in the Foundation series about a foreign black cube that displays complex mathematical equations.

I wonder if mathematicians like the series due to the whole mathematical foundation...

I don't work until Wednesday where I am forced to help kids at Valley Fair.

Lake Harriet

Today I went to two graduation parties. One was Dan Fisher's the other was a friend of the family's. Tonight we went (without Dan and Amy) to Lake Harriet Bandshell with Dan Lavenda, Katie R, Jesse B and Molly. We rode in Dan's little SAAB. It was nice. We were only there for a small bit, because we got there late. Katie bought me Ice Cream, it was good.

Funny: Police officers were walking around and I guess there was some type of threat. People were told to move away from a certain area. The announcer said there was a yellow blanket with a bag with unknown contents. I guess some type of threat was called in. There was police tape and everything. But I guess some people claimed it was there bag. It was really funny. I mean they didn't want us to clear too far, but gee if that were a bomb... hmm... if I planted a bomb. I would never call in to any place and tell them. I'd keep it a secret. That way they won't look for the bomb. I'm so much smarter than criminals...

ITCEP

Here's what we've been up to this week:

Molly and I are working at the IT Center for Educational Programs. We are TAing for the PRIME summer program. This is by far the best job (between working for my Dad, and PNBD) ever. Although it is very frustrating being in charge of 18 sixth or seventh grade boys especially when the other TA, Molly, is dealing with seven docile girls. It's been very fun anyway. Tomorrow I hope it's hot, so I can swim. Although T-storms have been forcasted.

I was supposed to help people at Innovative Research work on their web site, but they have no money. So I will be doing far less web work this summer. This is unfortunate, because I make a lot of money that way. I did how ever recieve a payment from Nutrition Dynamics.

I've almost finished the Foundation Series. I have one final book to complete: Forward the Foundation. Yishan says it is the best in the series. After this book, I'll take a break from Sci-Fi and may delve into Tolkien, or Science.

Anticipation

God, my house is so chaotic and my Graduation Party hasn't started. I finished my last final. I think I did pretty well. I came home to one dead phone line which I fixed. Turns out that RJ-11 jacks suck. Hmm.. now I wait in anticipation...

ADSL

It turns out that I cannot get ADSL service quite yet. Which is good, it saves me $120 for this summer.

Although, I'm sure later this summer it will debut. By next year I intend to get something similar in the summer (unless I'm working away from home, which I may). By then, Sprints wonder-line should debut, and thus the prices for both ADSL and Sprint's line would be very affordable.

Graduation

Well after waiting hours for the long Graduation commencement ceremonies to end the Senior Party fianlly began.

We got on a bus, and went to the Medina Entertainment Center. The food was mediocre, but they made up for that with good snacks. The music was a little loud at times too. There was a lot of things to do there, Bowling, caricatures, photo-buttons, winning huge prizes (which I could have gotten had Molly and I pooled our money together and gone into the prize room. But, we found out too late. (Some kid walked off with a Halogen Lamp!!!). We had lots of fun. Went to the hypnotist show (which I slept through). I guess it was really good. Then they had a drawing for a plane ticket, a couple TVs and some other items. Nobody I know won anything.

Romeo+Juliet

I'm recording Romeo + Juliet, the movie nobody likes. I saw the first 5-10 minutes of it and thought it was cool. I saw Tybalt and thought... That's gotta be John Leguizamo. He is so damn funny. Looks like I graduate tomorrow. I'm cleaning my room, it's fun. I take stuff that looks out of order and lay it on the floor. Then I put things on the floor where they belong.
