Down with panties!

Sorry, the last title was from the Simpsons, and this seemed to fit. Hey, I don't have to appologize. I live in a country where we can destroy other countries! Like this incident in Jamaica. The truth is, this is just a really bad post as far as you know... I say "breasts" a few time in this one, so I think you should avoid it. I don't usually say "breasts" so you can be rest assured that it's unlikely the next post will contain that word. In fact, if you are good at statistics or are just really bored, you can calculate the probability using a simple abacus or brain.

Oh, I almost forgot. This Hour has 22 Minutes featured a segment called "Talking to Americans." Where they videotaped us being stupid. It was quite funny. They were making fun of all these misconceptions that Americans have of Canada and they were making fun of the Governor of Arkansas. Once clip they asked an amazing replica of Pat Borchert whether she thought that the Governor of Arkansas was educated. Adam and I continue to wonder if this was the actual Pat Borchert. If it is, that's pretty cool. If not, look out for the clones.

I've always thought people who talk to plants are wierd. I just told my mom to talk to a plant. My Molly talks to her cat. That's why her cat stays home, so she can't talk to it so much.

This is a bunch of Indians that were just to much for a tiny hill. This shoudln't amuse me, but it does. It's that harsh bitter ironic amusement though. As if I was God, laughing at people. Anyway, during the 40 days of abstinance I wonder if kids who are born nine months later are shunned by celebrators of Makar Sankranti. All India needs is a few more holidays like this and the population rate can be cut severely.

Finally, a burglar with class.

Who'd of thought the BBC would be so fun-filled? Well here's a scoop on typing using your mind

Update on my class situation... I have been un "Kay"-ed. Turns out CS 3321 at the U of M satisfies the requirement for CS 125. So here's my schedule:

Reading Spiderman action books (I just added the word action, it's pretty cool) is pretty neat. Spiderman's wife Mary Jane is so cool. I mean, she has bright red unnatural hair... well of course it's up to interpretation, but the TV show and the comic books show it as red. Of couse the book has a character who referred to it as carrotty. Carrotty like Carrot top.

Today (Friday) I went to Wirth Park and went sledding, it was fun. I think I will purchase a sled for the next time I partake in sledding. I was with Daniel Lavenda (makes puns) and Dan Fisher (makes people sail). We did not successfully meet up with Hackel. Later when we finished we met with Hackel and went to Perkins. I think I saw someone else their who I recognized... someone... INDIAN (play Indian music in the background for a few minutes). I said nothing, because I wasn't sure. After Perkins we decided to see a movie. Dan Fisher and I forced Can't Hardly Wait on people. That's a good movie. Watch it. Well no, don't watch it, but it is a decent movie. What made it a plus is it had Jennifer Love Hewitt. Except she looked damn hungry. I wanted to reach out and give her a hamburger, even though I myself don't eat beef. So now I have one movie down of hers and approximately ten more movies which actually I may not want to see. Here's something neat. She's only a few months older than me and was born in Waco, TX. I don't understand why people like her so much. 22online.com seems to say it's the breasts, but I think that's stupid. I think she's cool because she looks pretty and her name is "Love." So whenever someone says Love, I can say, "Hewitt?"

BTW, I need calcium. My left elbow feels funny, so I'm going to drink Rice Dream instead of Cherry Coke or whatever body degrading drinks I drink. Speaking of drinking, one of the reasons I thought Can't Hardly Wait might be a decent movie to see, is that way I can get a view of what normal people may have done at a party at the end of the year. I decided the only thing that I really missed from my school experience was how long people were friends. Since I moved from Bloomington, I knew people I graduated with for about four or five years. What I didn't get was the, "Remember in fourth grade..." I miss that. Right now the only people I talk to that I met before fourth grade summer is a girl that I knew since before school until first grade and a close friend that I knew for half of seventh grade. My closest friend now (who's name rhyme's with Trolly, laugh with me people) is fortunate to still be friends with someone from her early childhood. Same goes for a lot of the people I know, who've "known people for so long." I miss that. I don't need it though, that's what's good. I just keep thinking, when life throws me a lemon, lemons aren't all bad.

Up with mini-skirts!

See, girls can do neat things with math. That would be nifty to make your own encryption code. Especially if it was good.

Grr... I'm somewhat upset about how much the price has dropped on computers. Take a look at this. In the fall Molly got her 350 MHz gee-whiz whizbang computer for almost $2K, right now you can get a similar computer for half the price. Not from a well reputed brand, but still, it's $1K less. I could understand if computers much faster than hers exist now, but none do really. They are up to about 450 for desktops. Back when she got her computer they were up to 400 as max. Oh well... next time either of us get a computer we will be better informed. Of course, I don't intend to upgrade my processor for a while... unless I get a job where I'm working on something that's many time faster than my current computer and I get computer envy, but I doubt it.

I went to see Practical Magic. It was a cute happy silly movie... I don't understand who they were aiming at, whether adults or children... I think this is the genre known as chick-flick. Well the movie taught me everything I need to know about witchcraft.

Hey can somebody find me the MP3 referenced in this letter? It's called Bring the Noise 2000. I'm hoping that it will be the long awaited update to their song Bring the Noise.

Okay, I saw some decent comedy from Canada while watching This Hour Has 22 Minutes. There was a great parody of Ally McBeal. "[Ally McBeal is] back for another year of putting women in their place." The parody was far too amusing, I only wish I had made a recording of the clip for Tanya Zoom. The show had other humorous points. I'd watch it more often, but hey, I have school. However, Canadian comedy is much funnier than that MAD TV/SNL crap we've been getting shoved up our armpits for the last few decades. I mean, who else makes fun of Americans =)

I get paid good freaking money to get birthdays right.

Well I'm stuck in a little bind. I am not able to sign up for a certain class unless I have the right things from the U of M that say the C and C++ classes I took cover what I might be learning in CS 125. Now I know what Kay feels like about getting into Madison. Except, this is just one class... but it's one of those classes that you need to take or you don't go on in CS. So now I am waiting for the CS Advisor at the U of M to get back to me.. hopefully they'll come up with something.

Despite your chewy goodness, your made of Blue #2

Linux and all it's goodness couldn't save my damn journal entry that I typed. Good think I ICQed the bulk of it to my sidekick of love at Caltech.

Wednesday I went with Adam to Dr. Shaw's math class featuring Aaron Engelhart and "Little" Dan Jay-Dixon. Adam and I quickly learned Differential Equations again and became TAs.

Later we went to Middlebrook Hall and visited Dave Weiler and Marc, then Dan with no Jesse and then Zach and Jason with Clint and later a Becky and then we broke into Marc's room and took our jackets and left.

Then I returned my Meat Beat Manifesto CD at cheapo. =( Note to people. Cheapo doesn't like giving Cash Refunds. They say they will give Cash Refunds but that is crap. I got one because they made an exception. They are perfectly fine with giving gift-certificates. Once they have your money, they want to keep it. I wouldn't have cared if they gave me a gift certificate, except that I don't go to Cheapo that often to buy things. I could, I guess have given it to Marc, who probably shops at Cheapo more than I.

So yeah, I did stuff that day.

This might disgust most of you... it disgusts me. I can understand not liking Abortion for some moral reasons, but to kill a fellow citizen because of a view that you have that others may not subscribe to is sickening.

I finally finished the year end Science journal. Once I got to the research paper section of the magazine, it went downhill. I mean, even if I was interested... research papers are boring as all hell.

You know Veruca Salt? Yeah well she or it or whatever has this remake of Depeche Mode's song Sombody... but I mean... now it sounds all lesbian if you listen to the words... it's kinda funny. "All lesbian." That's funny.

Slashdot presented me with this link. For all you cat lovers out there, here's technology acting out blasphemey. It's about this cat that learns based on its surroundings. Supposedly the brain for this will have the largest neural network. Now you know why Data from Star Trek always liked cats.

It all seems so stupid. It makes me want to give up.

I woke up early today... you know... like when I should wake up... before 6AM. I love this. Most of my friends are going to sleep right now... well except for those going to school. I can listen to the good old KQ Morning show.

Odd, I was planning on seeing Mr. Janos get sworn in as governor of Minnesota, but that was yesterday. So Minnesota... now for something completely different.

I am a Sunkist addict. Every morning, despite better judgement ... I grab a can of Sunkist and guzzle it down. I try not to drink any other pop... Perhaps I will be joining Adam and SMatt and become diabetic... you know... God playing a joke on me... "Ah, so he thinks he can drink Sunkist instead of Orange Juice for breakfast? Well, I'll give him diabetes." My grandfather (aja) has diabetes. He likes Citra. Because in India Citra is sugar free.

Windows need redesigning... they should form complete seals when shut. Thus cutting down on heating bills.

I had this dream where someone made Macaroni and Cheese (the tube macaroni) and it tasted good. The other dream was where Mike Jorgenson, my friend who attends UPenn and the Wharton School of Business, was actually stupid. The reason he got anywhere in life was because he could fake being smart very well. But I found out his secret... That dream was "dope." All my dreams are "dope." Like they are just these really whacked what-if situations. Like what if the sky was made out of Crystal Meth. Or if I had three apples and I gave you two apples, I'd have five apples. That'd be "dope." I'd give apples out left and right, and come out ahead.

Oh yeah, I did not watch Ally McBeal. I'm not that bored.

Back to dreams. I decided realistically a house that I'd want to have in the future would be this house. Just because it's needed so much maintenance, and I feel I could do a better job than my parents, namely because I know stuff. I'd have fun making this house like decent. Don't get me wrong it's a nice house, but there's little things that could be made better. I'd also get better windows. I'd get windows that collect solar energy. Windows that were tinted so you couldn't see inside the house. That would be dope. I'd also get stuff that would reroute natural light via a strategic network of fiber optic cables. That would make this house so "dope." Then I'd redo a few rooms so they made more sense. I'd also redo the landscaping. Sure you're wondering how I'm going to afford this, but the way I see it is if I can afford a house, I can afford to like make changes to it. I'd also change the doorbell so it would play a few bars of Mario when someone rings the doorbell.

Ugh, I can't stand my home anymore. I mean there's nothing here that is pleasing. I like the fact that I have some space and some privacy, but that doesn't do it really. I mean my parents seem to treat me the same way as they have always treated me - like a little kid in a candy store that's closed and all the candy is locked. What the hell is wrong with me... I've got like a barrel full of metaphores and similes.

Yes, by the way. I am still home.

My roommate is a statistic major...

My Star Wars checkbook is gone. I use double checks and the thing that separates the checks so I can make carbon copies is coming off so I am now using a boring black checkbook. The checks are still interesting. I also think in a few years I may get a brand new set of checks with checkbook.

Well December is interesting. Since a lot of people were home it meant that the second half of December experienced less hits on this web site. In fact, the hits were about halved. Seems pretty normal. Especially since my audience is small. Plus, I rarely visit other "news" sites at home.

Good job Caltech. Despite having three people who are on the top 10, wisconsin still managed to beat you. Adam... remember when ... geek.

Well I tend to retype everything now that I forget to save things. Anyway, I'm a bit upset, I liked all the albums I bought, but I'll have to return Meat Beat Manifesto because it has a noticeable scratch. So when I'm theoretically at the U of M, I'll do that. It sucks to have the first song in my head.

No Molly

I saw Wind in the Willows done using the cast from Monty Python. It was wonderful. I had forgotten the story and this was a nice representation. Toad got on my nerves a little bit. The defense was great during the trial.

Afterwards we ate at the Lotus and I went CD shopping with Adam Engelhart. I purchased three albums, Bad Religion's No Control, Orb's Orbvs Terrarvm (can someone explain the etymology?) and Meat Beat Manifesto's Storm the Studio which consists of four multi-part songs. The albums seemed good at the store, perhaps they will live up to my expectations.

I've also noticed that the car kit tools I use no longer seem to work. Namely the CD-tape device. I will see if it's just my CD player or something.

It all happened "just so fast"

Sorry Su, I'm going to use that phrase always.

Well I've actually gone out and done stuff. Let's talk about yesterday. Yesterday was New Year's Eve. As promised I was at the Borchert's. It was nice to attend. I saw a lot of people I hadn't seen for a while. I even talked with my alter ego. I even talked to Hayley. So much was done in one night. It was good to know that Mike Borchert and Tom Borchert among others are very into techno/electronic/wierd music like Daft Punk and Crystal Method. I loose uniqueness points, but oh well. Molly and I attempted sleeping around three or four in the morning, unsuccessfully because of all the people. At about 5:30 or 6:00 AM we went to Perkins (which Tina may find amusing). We had an amusing time. Ryan Hayle with some help won a Budweiser racing shirt and an elf in the claw game that they have. We had way too much fun because of the minimal sleep. We left a short time after the police came. That's right, the police came to Perkins to pick up some guy who passed out in a booth. They had a stretcher and an ambulence and everything. You've got to love the stupid things people do during New Years.

After Perkins I attempted to sleep again and eventually got my wish. In the meantime the elf was tortured. I woke up around 10 or 10:30 and started reading dilbert and ate some very delicious things that were hot... Cinnamon Buns. Pat Borchert was kind enough to make these in the morning (once at 7 and later at 11). Molly, Laureen, EP, Ryan and I went to see a Bug's Life at Shelard Park. I finally returned home at around 2:30.

Molly picked me up and I went over to her place for dinner at about 5:30 PM. It was nice having another meal. At about 8:30 we left for the airport and finally a bit before 10:00 I had to let go of her (physically) and she stepped on the plane to LAX. I shall miss her. I shall also miss Tom, who was on the same flight, but not nearly as much.

I feel like I should be going back to UI soon. Not that I am prepared to go. I've very little going on in my life until January 18th. Also, there is a correction to make. I was so pessimistic that I thought I'd see nobody especially not dear Molly over spring break, but alas a few days of overlap do exist. My break is from March 13 through March 21. More details will be spilled as I get them.

the Mind

Yesterday I ate at an Indian restraunt. It was okay. I mean I don't like Indian food usually. This, however, was pretty good.

I have sound working on my computer. Linux is a good Operating System if it's preinstalled or you know Ryan Hayle.

Today I got to go to the airport and pick up my brother and sister-in-law. Now I'm bored again. I think I'll find something interesting to do...

I might try to get that Hindu Mandir Online thing working... that could be interesting.
