It's been a good Spring Break. Yes, I'm doing homework... but it's at a relaxed pace. I'm also hanging out with some people. I'm cooking food again, too. I like this.
Read full postCool, Michelle -or- Kate asked me to clarify some fiscal issues with rent for next year and we ended up calculating a $237 savings per month over getting a single room in the Residence Halls. Of course the money will go towards excess in utilites, phone lines, cable, cable-internet and food as well as additional money that needs to be put into the house. I'm excited. By being able to work out details of rent and to muse upon what our house may be like next year with Michelle, I know I've made the right decision in choosing her as a housemate.
Read full postMy $20,000/day landmine addiction is causing great damage to my financial stability. I've got to stop. I just can't help myself. I order landmines from the net and just test them in open fields. Unfortunately landmines are an expensive luxury item. Well I better stop blowing up stuff. I better stick to a cheaper addiction... like Pokemon.
Read full postIt's Julie's Birthday today! Yet another one of my (pre-)houseling celebrates her birthday. Today I ate at Wok on the Wildside with her, Rachel and Julie (D). More at 11.
On an unrelated note, yesterday I discovered Chinese food. It's a restaurant called House of Chinese and Thai food. It was rather good. I shall attempt to frequent it more often and in greater numbers.
And on another unrelated note, Brendon (my roommate) has a computer to call his own.
Read full postAn interesting eastern belief is that everything that we seek, our happiness, our God, our soul, etc. comes from within. It is not a belief rather than a way of looking at things. I like this outlook on things. It keeps me whole and indestructable for all intents and purposes.
Read full postSo the other day, I was at Savoy watching Cider House Rules with the Julies (this was two weeks back, I think). There I saw a thing for X-men, the movie. I thought, cool. I also thought, "Professor Xavier is bald, so is Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard). I bet he's going to be the professor." Was I right, or was I right?
Here's some dialogue for you to enjoy:
Julie(S): Do you want me to pee on you?Read full post
Julie(D): Yes, I do. I want to drink it too.
I guess wearing black is associated with depression on Valentine's day. I disagree. I wore black because black clothes are cool.
Anyway. I'm balancing three jobs and 18 credit hours and training for aquahood as well. It's not too bad. I just need to push.
So anyway. I hope all you single people out there aren't on a depression streak, because there is so much more to life than being depressed. For all you coupled people I hope this day is a good one.
It is now time for the master to sleep.

Read full postOne of my favorite shows is Loveline which is actually a radio show. Dr. Drew from this show paid a visit to our campus today and just gave us a very interesting talk and q&a session. Very amusing and a very interesting person.
A bit of good news... I now work for NCSA as a undergraduate web developer. It's a bit of a pay raise from my current job. I'll hold both for a while, I think.
