Raj and Kelly have finally acquired the building that is to become my base of operations for the summer and hopefully onwards. This building has two apartments and office space. Ryan and I will occupy the apartments respectively and run Spin Drop in the office space.

So the night before flying to Berkeley Ahmed, Hadeel, some others and I went to see Hakim and Khaled. Hakim was alright... some Egyptian dude... Khaled was great. At least for a few songs it was excellent, like El Habra Wine which was the finale song. Totally put people in an upbeat mood.

This weekend I am at a National Student Conference on Palestinian Solidarity. People from all over the nation as well as a few people from the West Bank and Israel have showed up. The student movement for justice in Palestine is heading in a direction that will be effective.

Electronic Ink is first developed at MIT Media Lab. E INK, Corp was formed in 1997 to promote and diffuse this new technology.

I'm still going to win over my classes... but it looks like it needs from effort. In more interesting news Laureen (a.k.a. the Hero) came by Urbana this weekend. A visit in this seemingly God-forsaken wasteland is always nice.

First day of classes for this semester! Woke up at 6:00 and got my morning started right, I am going to kick each and every one of my classes ass and run out of here with my diploma.

So... hello. I am the website. No, just kidding... I'm Dave. I drove back to Schaumburg on the first (6 hours). So... yeah, I was terminated (on my will mostly) from Motorola this Friday. Moved out of my apartment Friday to my house in Urbana (3 hrs) and actually had to go back up to Schaumburg to exchange my rental van for a rental car and check out of my apartment (6 hours).

So i had an awesome time with my favorite brother and sister-in-law in Tampa and Kissimee Florida. Definitely a great vacation, nice weather, plenty of stuff to do and see and quite relaxing.
